As the breeder of this puppy, we care deeply about their well-being and the well-being of future generations. To help control pet overpopulation and reduce the risk of certain health issues, we require that this puppy be spayed/neutered. This agreement is a binding contract between the breeder and the new owner of the puppy.

Spay/Neuter Agreement: 1. Purpose of Agreement The purpose of this agreement is to ensure that the puppy described above is spayed or neutered by a licensed veterinarian in accordance with the terms of this agreement. The purchaser agrees to have the puppy spayed or neutered before the puppy is twelve months of age or an age agreed with breeder. 2. Spay/Neuter Procedure The purchaser agrees to have the puppy spayed or neutered by a licensed veterinarian before the puppy is twelve months of age or age agreed with breeder. The purchaser acknowledges that spaying or neutering is a surgical procedure that involves risks, and that the purchaser assumes full responsibility for any risks associated with the procedure. 3. Documentation The purchaser agrees to provide the breeder with written proof of spay or neuter within 30 days after the procedure has been completed. The written proof must include the date of the procedure, the name and address of the veterinarian who performed the procedure, and the name of the purchaser.

4. Breach of Agreement If the purchaser fails to have the puppy spayed or neutered by the age of twelve months or age agreed upon with breder, the purchaser agrees to pay a penalty of $1000 to the breeder. The purchaser acknowledges that the penalty is reasonable and necessary to compensate the breeder for the breach of this agreement. 5. Remedies The breeder may take legal action to enforce this agreement, including seeking specific performance, damages, and/or injunctive relief. 6. Entire Agreement This agreement contains the entire understanding of the parties and supersedes all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements between them. Any modifications or amendments to this agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties. 7. Governing Law This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Missouri. 8. Binding Effect This agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties hereto and their respective heirs, legal representatives, successors, and assigns. 9. Counterparts This agreement may be executed in counterparts, each of which shall be deemed an original, but all of which together shall constitute one and the same instrument. 10. Acknowledgment The parties acknowledge that they have read and understood this agreement and that they have had the opportunity to seek the advice of legal counsel before signing this agreement.
